GabbiKatzenellenbogen

Occupational Therapist 

Practice owner and manager

Gabbi graduated in 2009 and completed her masters in 2019 from Wits University. She has over 15 years of experience working as an OT in a variety of settings, including the United Kingdom, special needs schools, remedial schools, and in private practice. Gabbi has been working in private practice since 2013 and is passionate about helping kids reach their potential. Along with many other qualifications, Gabbi is sensory integration, DIR Floortime and SOS feeding trained. She enjoys working with children who are on the autistic spectrum, and tackling sensory processing difficulties, as well as motor planning and learning challenges. She is the founder of EverythingOT which allows for the continuation of therapy in the home environment. Gabbi is a mom to two children and a dog.

MeganBezuidenhout

Occupational Therapist

Megan graduated in 2018 from Wits University. She is Sensory Integration trained and is completing her DIR Floortime training in 2025. She previously volunteered in sensory integration camps for children in the Western Cape. She worked in a busy sensory integration practice in Rustenburg and joined GKOT in January 2022. Megan has a special interest in sensory integration, working with younger children and children with autism. Megan is an avid reader and enjoys ballroom dancing.

ALEX Cohen

Occupational Therapist 

Alex graduated in 2021 from UCT. After graduating, she moved to a rural village on the north coast of KwaZulu-Natal for her community service year. From there, she spent two years working in Durban at a busy sensory integration practice and joined GKOT in 2025. Alex is Sensory Integration trained and is a Novice board member on the SAISI board (South African Institute for Sensory Integration). She is currently completing her Master’s degree. Alex has a special interest in Sensory Integration, providing child-centred, play-based therapy that supports skill development and independence. Alex is adventurous; enjoys travelling, hiking, scuba diving and running.
